reality

Geez...its only been a week..less..in two more days i will know all my teachers already..got quite a number of diff teachers this year.. From just the few classes i had with them, i think they are much better than last year's teachers.. If i got them last year, dont think i would have done so badly and need catching up this year..

But... a teacher opened up my eyes..opened up my eyes to what years in teaching can shape a teacher..My bm teacher..she sas been teaching for some good many years in my school now..but she is LAZY.. or should i call it, taking her responsibility half heartedly.. or mayb she don really care at all.. i dono..u rate for yourself..

She comes in her first class and gives us a rumusan or MRSM 2008, trial spm paper to do..she told us to finish it before class ends.. she then took her place in the comfortable cushioned teacher's chair..thing is, she has nothing to teach..!! we already know the format to do the rumusan, we already know the do's and dont's of it.. what do u expect, we have been doing the same thing for over a year..before she left, she collected our work and went out..

Next class..(after 2 days).. she comes in again.. this time, she asked us to find 10 words that has different meanings, and explain it by creating sentences for every meaning of the word..then she goes back and sits on her almighty throne..from there, she gave royal decrees like a fussy old grand mother..one of the decree was that we read Julia (our novel for form5) and summarize it chapter by chapter..and later on she will let us copy the literature aspects of the novel.. Then she just continue speaking nonsense while we try to think of bloody 2 meaning words.. WHAT..?!?!

Will this continue?? what happened to languages being fun and interesting as a subject? shouldn't languages be interactive and creative despite of what language it is?? Whats the point of coming to class as a teacher when u are just going to give us work and sit there mumbling nonsense? we already know the exam format..we already know the rules for each paper..yes, practice is needed..but to the extend that we just do that and learn nothing new?

In that case, we learn much more when at tuitions.. teachers in tuitions teach most of the time..they guide us through..and not just "watch" us through..and we are blamed for going to tuitions because we dont pay attention in school..yeah right..
