H1N1..we are ready..!! yeah..

i know i'm suppose to be studying..but i just cant hold back my thoughts..this post is long..but pls read..haha

First Case..!!! The world terror has finally attacked the one small place it missed..MALAYSIA.. common..whats the worry.. it has been flashing in our newspapers.. WE ARE READY..(malaysia is ready to face the predator).. let me see where to begin..

ok..the best part first lah.. so we say we are ready, and the first case hit Sungai Buloh..and it's headlines in the papers today.. picts of ambulances, and hospital staff in masks, more articles on this swine flu is appearing from no where so suddenly..

While Anifah and Hillary Clinton is duscussing on financial crisis, trade and security, we as Malaysians are smiling from ear to ear.. proud what.. U.S wants to learn from US how we tackled the Asian financial crisis..from this perspective, ya..Malaysia sounds great.. but on the other hand, Malaysia looks like a joke to me in handling the H1N1 case..

Not to be offensive or discouraging, but don't la lie if we are not ready...here is a pict in the newspaper today..

If u are to see closely...the guy in black tie, using the comp.. is wearing his mask UNDER HIS NOSE>.!!!! OMG.. whats the use of wearing a mask when its under the nose? if he breathes only through his mouth all the time then nvm la.. but this..!! we are sooooo ready huh.. and the masks they are wearing, is just a normal surgical mask.. Don't they know they have to wear a special mask to protect them from a virus..???

ok..with that done..NEWSFLASH..we have a suspect case in Alor Star..Its a weekend, and my mum has to go in to work..because she was alerted that a patient needs to be isolated..suspected H1N1 case.. anyway, this was what happened.. my mum got called up this morn, saying that she has to standby..suspect case.. so she quickly got ready.. phone other staff members to be on standby as well..just before she left, another phone call came..phone call said that chief physician has seen the patient and is only normal flu..i know..it sounds pathetic..

Then.... mum had to "uncall" ppl..change back clothes and went to kitchen..prepare lunch.. then ring ring ring.. "Hello..Mrs.mum ada?" "tunggu sat ya"..Mummmmyyyyy.... mum comes out of the room and grumbles.. i must go hospital pula.. turns out to be a real suspected H1N1 case.. after getting ready..again....mum got another phone call..after a long talk, mum was complaining.. ppl don't even know their roles.. head of departments are clashing because they dont know their roles..!! gosh... we are so so so so ready.. anyway.. mum has gone to hospital..so i shall know what happens tonight..

On a separate thought.. read somewhere that Malays are glad that this virus has showed up.. why? because they can now know which Muslim eats pork.. i know..i know..suddenly everything in ur brain went blank right? and i have Muslim friends who say i better not eat pork..later kena virus..and some of them even boast to me that pork is a dirty animal..and thats why they dont eat..then whats bird flu?? anyway.. this is picked straight from wiki..

see.... how are we prepared when our "countymen" dont even know facts of this influenza? being ready is more than just setting up tents in hospitals and preparing the Health Ministry.. if it is that easy to be prepared, any body can say i'm ready.. anyway, we'll see what turns out of this situation..
